Since 2000,I was beginning to
research about the application of Chinese herbs and acupuncture in elements and
clinic, mainly focus on about regulation of stress response, organs protection
and postoperative complications prevention by traditional Chinese medicine.
It’s the first time to mention the TCM theory and mechanism about the
regulation of stress response intervened by TCM treatment, and developing on
usage during operation and pharmacological research of the single Chinese herb
such as Yuanhu, Wild papaya, puerariae, Astragalus membranaceus, monkshood.
According to my research, I find that the mechanism of postoperative
complications, which is “Qi deficiency and blood stasis” caused by “Blood
deficiency more than Qi deficiency” during operation, then we built the unique
theory of “ pull a big cart with a small horse”; meanwhile, I also bring
forward the hypothesis of Blood-Qi theory about “stress response curve relating
to ages” base on different ages patients. I still undertake and participate in
many projects about TCM usage in the field of anesthesia and
pain control, which including National "11th Five-Year" support plan,
National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of
Shandong Province and the projects administrated by State Administration of
Traditional Chinese Medicine, Health Department of Shandong Province, Education
Department of Shandong Provincial. These projects mainly care about the
perioperative regulation of stress response, prevention of the POCD and
postoperative DVT by TCM treatment. More than fifty papers have published in
domestic and abroad journals, and I won lots of awards from many associational
and governmental competes, which including the 3th Science and technology award
of Chinese traditional and Western Medicine combination Association of China,
the two of 2th, 3th scientific and technological progress awards of Provincial
and ministerial respectively, the 1st, 3th natural science
innovation award of Shandong province respectively, the 1st
scientific and technological progress award of traditional Chinese medicine in
Shandong Province and the two of 3th science and
technology award of Shandong medicince
