Dr. Michael Champeau is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the Yale University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Pediatrics at the University of California at Los Angeles, and, subsequently, a residency in Anesthesiology at Stanford University. Board certified in both Pediatrics and Anesthesiology, Dr. Champeau is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Champeau is a Past President of the California Society of Anesthesiologists, and served last year as President of the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

He is a past president of the Medical Staff at the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford and has served as President of the Associated Anesthesiologists Medical Group in Palo Alto, California for the past 20 years.

Dr. Champeau is an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at Stanford University.
