Dr. JunHeum Yon has been a distinguished professor at Inje University Sanggye Paik Hospital since 1994, making significant contributions to the field of medicine. In addition to his academic role, he has served as a committee member for the New Medical Technology Evaluation Committee under the Ministry of Health and Welfare since 2013.

Since 2018, Dr. Yon has held prominent positions in various professional organizations, including the Insurance Director of the Korean Medical Association and the Chair of the Insurance Committee of the Korean Society of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He has also been a non-resident review committee member at the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service since 2009.

In 2023, Dr. Yon was appointed President of the Korean Society of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, reflecting his leadership and expertise in the field. Additionally, in 2024, he will assume the role of Vice President of the Korean Medical Association.
